Audacity 2.3.1 on Windows 10
Cannot seem to find the documented EditMetaData operation in the available Macro function list.
Would like to eliminate a meta data field before saving in Batch (Files) mode.

The EditMetaData: command is not available in the list of Macro commands, and in its current form it would not be useful. All that the command does is to open the Metadata Editor - it does not provide a means to modify the metadata with a macro, you would still have to do that manually.
For batch processing metadata, I’d suggest using a specialist “tag editor” such as Mp3Tag (https://www.mp3tag.de/en/), or use the tag editing features of your favourite media player.
Thx for the quick reply.
That is what I am doing as a secondary operation.
Just saw the function and figured I would ask.
To toss out a suggestion. Would like to see the Save features come with a save location option and a filename change capability.
Appreciate the hard work.
