Hi. I’ve been using Audacity 2.3.3 to record voiceovers which I’m then putting with videos for YouTube. I’ve been having real problems moving around in Audacity. I record, then if I made a mistake, I redo that bit live with a view to taking out the error later. I also want to take out swallows or clicks, and to silence background hiss. I have to close some of the long gaps too. The thing I find really irritating is that if I want to go back a few seconds, I can’t seem to do so. It wants to return me to wherever I am on the recording. I know this is probably a really simple issue for you techies but for me it’s hairpullingly frustrating. Help, please, and I don’t care how inept you think I am, I’m brand new to all this stuff!
