I loaded the Wav file and selelcted the part I want to delete and nothing happens. I’ve tried hitting the delete button and control x and control k - nothing happens it won’t let me delete the selected section intro of the WAV file I opened. Any advice/suggestions please?

Also note that most Audacity shortcuts on Mac use COMMAND, not CTRL.
