I was wondering if it is possible to download earlier versions of Audacity. The current release 3.1.0 has not been approved by my enterprise environment yet. The approved version is 3.0.x. Is this earlier version available for download?
You may want to consider staying with Audacity 2.4.2 until a more recent version is approved by your organisation. The jump from 2.x to 3.x was a big step, and while Audacity 2.4.2 was the panicle of the 2.x series, Audacity 3.0.0 was the first of the 3.x series and had some issues (many of which have now been resolved). However, note that projects created in Audacity 3.x are NOT compatible with Audacity 2.x, so if you already have projects created in 3.0 it may be too late to revert to 2.4.2.
