I use Audacity for adding extra tracks to musical compositions that friends send to me. I load their recording into Audacity and listen to it on headphones while I record my parts. I saw that V3.2 was released so loaded it up, not appreciating that : (i) Playback would start to falter unless I restarted Audacity for each take. (ii) on playback of the original plus my work, my track lags, possibly after I followed some of the actions in reply to others who have experienced the lag problem. Short story: This version is a disaster for me. I’ve wasted a day and I have deleted V3.2 . Please provide a link to the previous version. If you can’t then GOODBYE!
