I just tried to install Audacity 2.3.3 for Linux and after installation, when I clicked on start monitoring A LOUD ALARM went off on my computer and I could not stop it for a full minute!
What in the world is wrong?
I went to the official site and it directed me to where the download for Linux is and it said Audacity 2,3,3 (Flathub)
I just Uninstalled it

I would not recommend using the Flatpak version.
