Not sure if I’m the only one with this issue but I’ve downloaded audacity following a YouTube tutorial. When I open the app the features appear in the middle of screen and are all bunched up and overlap together. This looks way different from the tutorial online. Their features are organized at the top. It’s the 2.3.1 version I’m downloading. Is this normal or an issue?
It’s perfectly “legal” to make and distribute your own version of Audacity, so goodness knows what you have. This is the one from our download site.

You’re not the only one. A few others have reported this same issue.
To fix it, go to “View menu > Toolbars” and select “Reset Toolbars”.
