I run XP and recently upgraded from 1.3. I am having a problem with how the program displays the controls. For instance, the “skip-to start,” “play,” “record,” “pause,” “stop,” and “skip-to-end” buttons all display as “pause” buttons. I’m wondering if this is a memory issue with my computer.
And which version have you upgraded to

Try rebooting, then re-install Audacity and select the “Reset Preferences” option in the installer. When you then open Audacity, confirm that you want to reset preferences.
