Display length in minutes only

Hi, is there a way to display the length in mins not hrs mins, I’m splitting into tracks around 43 mins long & keep having to do the maths to see where the breaks should occur!

Sorry no, not minutes.

These are the available formats:

A workaround for you would be to switch to seconds - 43 minutes = 2,580 seconds

Are you aware that you can change the selection gearwheel dropdown menu to change the Selection display to say Start and Length of Selection? That may make like easier for you, with less math …

If you are always dividing the track up into chunks of the same length you could use Tools > Regular Interval Labels - but I’m guessing that you may be looking for song boundaries close to 43 minutes so this would then not be an option for yo. See:

You could post an Enhancement Request for a Minutes format option on Muse’s GitHub issue log:

You would need a GitHub account to do that, but those are free.

Hi - thanks for getting back, seconds would help. I can’t see the gearwheel you refer to, the timeline just gives me minutes seconds or beats. I’ve dropped back to 3.5.1 as I was getting crashes on 3.6. I haven’t logged them as I wasn’t sure it was an audacity issue but thinking about it I haven’t seen them since I reverted to 3.5.1! They occurred several hours into recording & I believe the crash logs were sent.
I’ll try 3.6 as well but I’m several hours into a recording at the moment & wanted to respond quickly but can’t try much at the moment

It’s here in the Selection Toolbar:
