Where is this resource on Windows 10? It doesn’t seem to match disk usage well (from file manager)
seems to be gradually getting smaller. Also, can it be moved?
It’s not a Windows resourse, it is functionality within the app.
Audacity looks at the remaining disk space on the disk you are recording to aand then calculate the maximau recording time based on your parameters like project rate and whether you are recording in stereo or mono.
And yes it will get smaller as you record as the recording is taking up disk space.
And sorry, no the Staus Bar cannot be moved in Audacity (only the Toolbars can be moved).
Peter.

Well look that’s sort of the definition of a Windows resource. Where is it doing this or on what exactly is it making this calculation? It doesn’t seem to correspond with what I see for remaining disk space. I have lots and lots of disk space.
I didn’t ask about moving the status bar. I asked about moving the resource, if it can be identified.
