Dialog windows (E.g. Plugins or Preferences) disappear when dragged to 2nd monitor

When using multiple screens, any dialog popup window that is dragged from the default screen to a different screen becomes hidden.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open Audacity
  • Open Preferences Menu
  • Click and drag Preferences Menu to other screen

At this point my Preferences Menu disappears, but the menu remains open. I can see the window by cmd+tab, but it will not show.

My Mac is M2 Pro, Ventura 13.5.

Can anyone reproduce this?
