My 3 day work of recording is lost! I had previously saved file normally. I just opened saved audacity file, clicked record button and as my mic wasnt plugged in, it didnt start redording, then audacity closed and when I open it again it says “detected missing 98 audio data blockfiles, probably due to a bug system crash or accidential deletion there is no way for audacity to recover automatically”. I had previously saved file normally. But when I try manual recover from data file, it doesnt work.
There was no system crash or deletion, I had been recording for 3 days and its lost so simply? Is there anything I can do?

Manual recovery doesn’t work on edited shows, compound shows or Audacity crashes.
There was no system crash or deletion
No, but Audacity, whose job it is to keep track of all the files and folders, crashed. Chances are good that it was getting ready to add work to your show. It would open the files and folders needed to do that. When the microphone vanished unexpectedly, Audacity closed without saving anything. All those files are missing.
We can wait for one of the Systems people to post, but I think the show is gone.
Next time you do this, At least once a day, Save As: a different show name so the worst that can happen is you lose one fraction of the show instead of the whole thing. You can do this several times a day.
Don’t use punctuation marks in the show name except -dash- and underscore. Use the ISO dates. Today is 2019-10-20. No slash marks.
If the show is a single timeline with a bunch of edits and additions, you can File > Export a perfect quality WAV (Microsoft) 16-bit show file. Those are plain, ordinary sound files, they open anywhere and you can construct your show from them. Do not use MP3 anywhere until the final posting, and then only if you need to.
