I use Audacity for creating soundfiles for audio journalism. (Remember radio?) Here’s my simple conundrum: I have a voice track. I want to delete a portion of the interview and merge the remaining two tracks into one. I want to remove the vertical black line! I used to be able to go to Tracks, mix and render. But in Audacity 4, there is no mix and render command–all you can do is add whole new tracks. Anybody have an answer? There’s gotta be a solution!
