Custom FFmpeg Export Options Issue

So the issue happens when i select “Current Format” in dropdown, i did 4 cartoons audio restoration and i exported around 80 audio files since now without “Current Format” selected, but i selected “Current Codec” to aac. I am wondering what did program picked up for “Current Format”, by default then? (btw. i added .aac extension to the file name before export). Maybe you can fix that issue by selecting that field by default the first time we enter those options. I had to “Reset Configuration” in Tools selection which made it nonsense… I don’t know what format i exported my audios to…

Sorry, I don’t understand what you’re asking…

When you click Open Custom FFmpeg Format Options, the dialog box allows you to select the format and the CODEC.

Of course the Audacity developers don’t control FFmpeg, only the interface.

If you want AAC you can select it directly from the drop-down menu as M4A (AAC) Files (FFmpeg) without going-through the custom dialog box.

You can check the format with MediaInfoOnline. (You can also download MediaInfo to your computer.)

I checked, by default its first format, so in my case “ADTS” was used, so you could maybe add in program interface (to show) that first one is selected by default if user doesn’t select format.
