Cue Sheets - Skip Hidden Track Silence?

I have a number of cue sheets (created from music cds) with hidden tracks at the end - basically I’m trying to skip the typically long periods of silence between the last track and the beginning of the hidden track. Is there any way to do this?

The best I can come up with is to split the last track into 3 tracks: a). the last track, b). a track containing just the silence between the two tracks and c). the hidden track. But ideally I’d like to just skip over that silence altogether - can cue sheets force that to occur?

This doesn’t really have anything to do with Audacity, but you could rip the audio from the CD (for example, with foobar2000) and then burn the ripped audio tracks to a new CD (including the “hidden” track as a normal track), for example, with CDBurnerXP.

[Note that by default, CDBurnerXP includes OpenCandy (a component which displays a single advertisement during setup, allowing you to install additional optional software), though there is also a version available from CDBurnerXP website that does not have OpenCandy. ]
