Ctrl-V doesn't work no more

Pasting with Ctrl-V doesn’t work any longer in Audacity 3.4.0. Is there a reason for?

I am unable to duplicate your issue. In Audacity 3.4.0 on Windows 10, I just Generated a Chirp, then did Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, clicked in a blanks part of the Audacity workspace and Ctrl+V. A copy of the track appeared just as I expected.

I’ll try to explain it better. If I want to paste txt in a label (Ctrl-B) I’m using often txt from an external source. That always worked with Ctrl-V, but in this version no more. I can use the right mouse button and paste txt in that manner, but for me that’s not handy.

Yes. Thank you for your report. The developers have been notified here: Paste Into Label via 'Ctrl + V' Fails · Issue #5518 · audacity/audacity · GitHub

where the developers note they hope to have this fixed in 3.4.2.
