creating streaming audio for websites

I haven’t downloaded Audacity to my computer yet. Before doing so, I would like to know whether Audacity would enable me to create streaming audio to be placed on my website. If so, how would I go about doing that? Is there an HTML code generator in Audacity that would allow me to place an audio stream or audio player on my website, or could an audio stream be placed on my website in another way?

Audacity is an audio editing program. You can use it for editing and processing the audio that you want to use on your web site.

There are various ways to embed audio into a web site, but Audacity is not a web authoring program. Try Google’ing for how to embed audio in web page.
