Create beats

So I downloaded Audacity in hopes that I can use it to create beats and more. After I installed it I googled for how to make beats using it and came across this website: http://www.ehow.com/how_6658500_make-beats-using-audacity.html In step 3 it says to Import the audio loops by selecting “Import Audio” from the “Project” tab at the top. My Audacity does not have a Project Tab on top. How do I find it??

It’s File > Import.
There may be more convenient software to create a rhythm backing track, but you can probably do it.
Make sure you’re using the latest Audacity 2.0.5.
