Crashing with MAutoAlign

I’m currently running Audacity 3.2.3 on a Dell laptop running Windows 10 Pro (version 21H2) with 16 GB of RAM.

The Melda plugin MAutoAlign supposedly works on Audacity. I have it installed. I’m able to enable MAutoAlign on the two tracks I wish to align. I start the analysis and then I’m thrown out of Audacity with an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ crash.

Is anyone having success running MAutoAlign on the latest version of Audacity? Any suggestions/instructions would be helpful!

BTW, I ran MAutoAlign on a trial of Reaper and it worked great!

The full data dump of the crash log is attached.

Thanks!

As I test this a little more, the Audacity crash only seems to happen when I also enable the “Spectral Phase Compensation” section of MAutoAlign. Turns out that’s the tweak that gave me the “Wow!” reaction in Reaper. Would love to have it work in Audacity so I don’t have to pay $60 for Reaper just to use it.
