Crash when trying to export

Whenever i try to export my projects as .m4a (7h 48m hour files), the program crashes after a few seconds during the export. I hadn’t had this problem a few days ago. Smaller files (7-10 minutes) are not affected.

Your “pluginsettings.cfg” file is corrupt.
I don’t know if that is the cause of the problem, or just an indication of some other problem (such as disk errors).

The pluginsettings.cfg file will need to be deleted.

  1. Close Audacity if it’s open.
  2. Locate the pluginsettings.cfg file. It is in:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\audacity\
  1. Delete the pluginsettings.cfg file.

A new pluginsettings.cfg file will be automatically created when you restart Audacity.
