Crash when editing chains, equalizer parameter [SOLVED]

Hey guys, new to the forum and to Audacity. Using Windows 7 64bit and Audacity 2.1.1.

Audacity is crashing after I go to File>Edit Chains, and Insert an Equalization command. Specifically, the program crashes after I choose the Equalization command and then click on Edit Parameters.

I can’t tell you exactly why I’m doing this in the first place - I’m following specific instructions in preparation for mastering. Any ideas why I’m getting the crash? Thanks!

It’s a bug in Audacity 2.1.1.
I think that you can work around the bug by opening the Equalization effect in a project and making the required settings before you open the Chain editor.

The bug has been fixed in Audacity 2.1.2 which is due to be released very soon (2.1.2rc3 should be available via the Audacity website within the next few days, and the official release version will hopefully be out about a week later http://web.audacityteam.org/download/)

Thank you, Steve!! I tried 2.1.2 RC2 and that fixed it.

Cool. Thanks for confirming.
