I used Audacity to modify the sound effects on the MacOS Mojave. When I’m adding effect, just clicking OK might cause a crash. It happens so often that I have to restart Audacity to edit files. How to solve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you use iCloud or other on-line storage?

It happens roughly once every three files. The last time I restarted my Mac was a month ago. Usually I just run Unity, Visual Studio and Chrome. I don’t use iCloud or other online storage.
All effects will be triggered and it seem to be completely random
Try rebooting the computer and see if that helps.
