I’m using version 2.0.6. Is there a way to convert Audacity files to MP3 or other formats? Thanks!
Audacity doesn’t write AUD files - it writes an AUP project file and a _data folder that is also required for each project. Please see Managing Audacity Projects - Audacity Manual.
To export MP3 files please add LAME to your computer - see http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#lame.
