Constant popping noise, probably due to clipping...

Heya. Before I start, YES I know I should have been aware of the clipping and handled it, but I missed it, and I can’t go back and re-record now…

So, I’m looking for an option to soften the click noises that are in this audio. A sample is attached.

I’ve tried Click Removal and SA Perfect Declipper, and unless I’m just not setting the settings right, they aren’t helping much. Anyone have any suggestions? All I need is for the words to be audible without the clicking, and I’m willing to take a hit to quality if it means that.

First of all it sounds like it’s playing too fast , as if you recorded at 44.1KHz , but played back at 48KHz , i.e. 8.2% too fast , fixable using Change speed at minus 8.2% …

Secondly the distorted bits aren’t clipping , but another form of distortion , and IMO, aren’t fixable.
