connecting redord player to computer

Hello,
I have hooked up my record player via microjack to the computer but get no sound. Can anyone help with this?

I can’t get any sound into my computer. I haven’t even started with Audacity yet. I’m just trying to get sound for now.

You won’t get any sound unless you have software running that will take the input signal and convert it into output sound - Audacity does that, so I suggest you do start with Audacity (and those tutorials) :slight_smile:
