I found Compress based on peaks particularly effective but the latest compressor doesn’t seem to offer this option. Am I missing something?
Audacity’s Compressor effect was replaced by a new Compressor effect.
By popular demand, the old Compressor effect has been added back into Audacity under the new name of “Legacy Compressor”.
The same applies to the “Limiter” effect.
