Compatibility with Windows 7?

In the past, I’ve used Audacity for recording audio in “real time” (i.e. that which is being played through my computer’s speakers) using Windows XP. I’ve lately made the jump to Windows 7 but as of yet can find no combination of settings which will allow me to do this. I’d appreciate any suggestions that anyone may have.

FYI… I’m using Audacity v2.0.3 with Windows 7

Please read this Tutorial in the Manual:

Note that unlike XP, if you are recording the computer playback using stereo mix then the audio you are playing must be audible, or you cannot record it.
