combine music files

I am combining music files to create a voice over. I’ve done this before and it worked fine.

I have a bit of music I opened, then imported the voice file under it. Placed the voice file where I wanted it, and it plays back fine

However, when exporting, only the music file exports, not the voice file. What am I doing wrong?

Have you Muted the voice track with the Mute button in the Track Control Panel for the track?

If you (accidentality ?) clicked on “export selected” that will omit unselected tracks.
