Click noise during recording

Hi

I hope you can help me! When I’m recording from the mic a click noise is appearing all along the recording, I was doing several tests and I found it appears as a shadow noise after every sound. I attached a couple of pics and sounds. As you can see after a clap there is a lot of clicks even if the gain is enough low.

Audacity version 2.4.1 (already uninstalled and re-installed)
O.S. Ubuntu 18.04
Sound card: VT1708S 8Canales High Definition Audio CODEC (Motherboard integrated ASUS m4a785td-v evo)
Input 1: LINE input (blue connector) with AKG P120 Condenser Mic
Input 2: MIC Input (pink connector) with web cam integrated mic. (I did a test with this to discard hardware issues)

Does this happen if you just record the room noise (no clapping)?

The clicks are so regular it almost seems like the latency of the card.
Do you have Software play through enabled? If so, I would turn it off and try again.
