I’d like to find a cheap (like 30-80 USD) microphone for recording band rehearsals. I’m thinking something like a low-end version of those fancy things that bluegrass bands gather around. I assume those are omnidirectional mics. And I can find lots of cheap omnidirectional mics for sale online, but all the reviews I can find are about whether they’re good for recording speech. I’m sure all the good stuff is expensive, but are there any low-end mics known to be relatively well suited for music? Thanks! --Allen
I have used Naiant mics with good success.
I compared an earlier version of these to some much more expensive mics and they sounded pretty darned decent.
Thanks! This looks like exactly what I had in mind. --Allen
