Changing tempo and "wobble"

Hello,

I have an audio sample which I have severely slowed down using “Change tempo”. When I do so, the resulting audio has “wobbles” in it - it sounds shaky as a result of the slowing down process. How can I smooth these wobbles out? I have tried adding lots of reverb in an attempt to mask it but it doesn’t seem to have made much difference.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Try the “sliding time scale/pitch shift” effect but leave the pitch shifts on zero,
the result is less distorted (wobbly/stuttery) than using “Change tempo without changing pitch” effect.
A comparison of these two effects is attached.
