Change Tempo/Time Scale from Command Line

Hi -

I’m wondering if there is any way to invoke the “Change Tempo” effect from the command line, either Windows or Linux would be fine.

My MP3 player does not support time scaling, but I’d like to get through spoken word podcasts at a faster-than-normal rate. I would like to be able to schedule a job to process all of the files in a directory with time scaling overnight. Even if this cannot be done with Audacity, I’m certainly open to using other software to accomplish this.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I think you may be able to do it as a batch using “Chains” (not tried it myself).
