The supplied disc with the turntable is smaller than a standard disc. The drive on my dell takes a standard size disc. How do i set up my turntable if the disc is to small for my drive?
Please do not SHOUT IN UPPER CASE.
I converted to sentence case for you.
Audacity is not responsible for whatever disc comes with your turntable. However, the Audacity software on the disc is very likely not an up-to-date version, so it is a blessing in disguise.
Simply install the current Audacity 2.1.1 from http://audacityteam.org/download/windows.
Also see http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#exe about installing Audacity.
If this is a USB turntable, this article should be useful to you: Recording with USB turntables or USB cassette decks - Audacity Manual.
By the way, do please left-click the download link on http://audacityteam.org/download/windows. You can’t right-click download links on the Audacity site any more. I will correct that FAQ for the next release of the Audacity Manual.
Thank you Gale!
Sorry about the upper case, that’s the US ARMY in me. Thanks for your help!

Just for future reference, most CD drives will read mini CDs. Have you tried it?
Slightly off-topic, but since you’ll be digitizing records, this page has lots of helpful information, including suggestions for cleaning-up “snap”, “crackle”, and “pop”.

I’m perfectly comfortable with the drawer type players doing that. There’s a special depression in the guides. I have two players which support minis.
I’m probably not going to put a mini-CD in my Mac Laptop slot—even if it says it’s OK.
