Installed the Audacity 2.0.3 software… but under Preferences, I do not have an option to select USB PnP Audio Device for recording device. The drop-down menu only displays No Devices Found. My computer has the Windows 7 OS.
Virtually all USB cassette decks and USB turntables use the Microsoft-supplied plug-and-play drivers. So, most likely you have a bad USB cable or the cassette player is defective.
