Can't Install Error Message "Out of Memory?"

I thought this would install from the CD with no
problems, but my new Gateway desktop’s C: drive has 1.75TB free space of 1.80TB,
so can anyone help me why I can’t install the software, and I receive a
message “Out of Memory” with a red “X”?

Disk space is not the same as memory.

Audacity does not supply CD’s. If the CD came with some equipment you purchased, the Audacity version may be out-of-date. Try downloading and installing the latest 2.0.2 version instead from this link:
http://audacityteam.org/download/windows .
