Can't get Label Sounds to work

Can’t get Label Sounds to work
Using Audacity 3.7.5. Recording old tapes which seems to work. Noticed after each track the recording is on hold and restarts directly with the next track. So leaving no ‘silence gap’ in between. I reckon that’s why ‘Label Sounds’ can’t detect any of the tracks? What setting is wrong?

Seems like you might have Sound Activated Recording on.

Checked the pref and you are right. Unchecked Sound Activated Recording. I suppose there is no way to automatically find the non existing gaps in the recorded .aup3?

Nope. It wasn’t recorded.
