Can't find Panramp plug-in

Arch linux 5.6.15
Audacity 2.4.1, installed through pacman

I’ve been using Audacity for a while but this is my first time installing a custom plug-in.

I followed the steps in the manual: First I enabled the nyquist plug-in installer, then I used this to add panramp.ny. A pop up indicating that it was successfully installed said I could now enable the plug-in via the plug-in manager.

However, when I browse the plug-in manager, even after restarting Audacity,

panramp

is nowhere to be found.

I then tried the manual installation, moving the file to ~/.audacity-files/plug-ins. Restarted Audacity again but the plug-in still does not appear.

That shouldn’t be necessary. The Nyquist Plug-in Installer should be enabled by default, so there’s something wrong there.

Did you previously have an older version of Audacity installed?
