Can't Find FFmpeg

I downloaded and installed FFmpeg but I can’t find it in Audacity.
How can I find it ?

The preferred way, on Linux Mint, to install ffmpeg is to use Driver Manager to install the codecs packages. You should be good to go after doing that.

In Debian / Ubuntu / Mint … If you use the standard repository version of Audacity, FFmpeg (and LAME) is usually installed by default and Audacity’s “Libraries” menu is hidden. If you are unable to import / export formats supported by FFmpeg / Lame, then as Neil wrote, you may need to use Driver Manager to install the codecs packages.

In Flatpak / Snap packages, FFmpeg may not be available due to the application running in a “sandbox”. Either it will be available by default, or not at all. Questions about Flatpak / Snap packages should be directed to the package maintainers.
