Audacity (version 2.1.2)
We cannot cut an Audio track without pausing hence we aren’t really sure if we’re cutting out the exact parts of the audio track that we need. I take that there should be an option to Cut while Playback for better editing.
You can’t cut while playing or paused.
Try selecting what you want to cut, then press C on your keyboard to “Cut Preview”. This plays the audio before and after the cut. You can adjust the length to be played before and after the cut in Playback Preferences.
