Cannot Record Mic Input on Denon MC6000

I’m trying to record vocals from my mic input on the denon mc6000 but the audio on the mic is not being picked up in audacity

the audio is coming through on the speakers and showing up on the mixer.

Here are my settings

speakers-(dnmc6000)
microphone- (dnmc6000)
2 stereo input channel

any help or advice would be appreciated.

It’s a juggling act. Those USB/MIDI switches along the upper panel edge of the mixer have to be set for Audio and not MIDI. The mixer has only one USB connection and if you pick the wrong configuration, Audacity won’t get anything.
