Been using Audacity 19 years, using an elder Dell laptop. Could always record music into mic to track.
Put the above versions in this new HP, can record voice, but the ‘harp makes a blank track, nothing there.
Can this be adjusted, so it will get these frequencies? What’s going on here?
Make sure Windows “enhancements” are turned OFF.
Windows is getting very-good at filtering-out everything but spoken voice.
By golly, it worked! I thought it might be a system issue, and not an Audacity one. Just had to navigate through this Windows 11 set of accessing the works.

That’s one of the most common problems we see here on the forum and those “enhancements” can cause all kinds of strange problems.
