Cannot expand collapsed tracks [SOLVED]

Hi all, I’m using Audacity 2.0.5, Windows XP SP3 32-bit. I’m experiencing a problem.

After collapsing tracks, I cannot expand them again, in order to see the waveform and edit them.
And clicking on View / Expand All Tracks do not restore them.

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean the Zoom tools? Do the manual ones work? Drag-select some small portion of a timeline and zoom into it with Command-E. Zoom back out with Command-F. Did that work?

Many Audacity tools, filters and effects stop working when you’re in Pause instead of Stop.

Also, if you dragged the bottom of the tracks up, View > Expand All Tracks only expands to the dragged up height.

Please be careful with Windows XP - if a hitherto unknown security threat appears your computer can’t now be patched because Microsoft is no longer supporting XP. Use Windows Update to get the latest security patch Microsoft have just provided. There is no guarantee there will be more patches.

I’ve dragged the bottom of the apparently “locked” tracks and it works. Now I can expand/collapse all tracks.

Audacity is a fantastic piece fo software. Thank you!
