I run Audacity (latest update) in windows 11 which was an upgrade from windows 10, on a lenovo laptop. I just installed Audacity on a new dell windows 11 home. I cannot configue to record from anything but usb or built in mic. I use wireless headphones 100% of the time and have always been able to through the loopback option on headphones. What gives?
I too have new Dell with Windows 11. I’m recording my vynil lps to mp3. Sound goes in and out in various increments. When the sound is out the record is still playing fine. The microphone scale “limits” the sound to very low db. Help, please!
You can try doing Tranport > Rescan Audio Devices, or restart Audacity AFTER plugging in the headphones.
