I get an error message when I attempt to play a file I converted from a cassette. It also does not completely burn the cd.

What’s the error message?
Do you see the blue waveform something like [u]this[/u]?
Are you saying it doesn’t play in Audacity after recording, or are you saying the file doesn’t play after exporting?
It also does not completely burn the cd.
Audacity directly doesn’t burn CDs. Please tell us how you are doing that. And what to you mean by “completely”?
