Can you mix and render tracks two by two with macro ?

Hello, I’m new with macro, and I have a lot of tracks (like 600), the left and right channel are currently separate, so I want to mix them together two by two to get only 300 stereo tracks.

They’re sorted like that :
Track 1 L
Track 1 R
Track 2 L
Track 2 R…

They’re mono with accorded channel maxed out, so I just have to mix them together I think.
And if I can rename the mixed tracks at the same time it would be great, but I don’t know neither how to do.

Since Macros do not support looping, I don’t think you are going to be able to do this with Macros; and I do not know about using Nyquist.

Let me suggest that you explore using Python in conjunction with Audacity. See: Scripting - Audacity Manual
