Can we remove effects from a saved track?

Hi,

I accidently exit a project after applying “Base and Tremble” and “Echo” effects, saving the affected track, and saving the project. So I lost the original track (without effects). Can we remove these two effects from the track I saved? I still remember all parameters of these two effects I applied. This is Audacity Windows 2.4.2 version.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

You can reverse bass & treble (perhaps imperfectly) by doing the opposite… Boosting instead of cutting, etc.

But you can’t remove echo. :frowning:
