Can someone help me with this "gunshot/whine" noise problem? its been doing it for 4 months

my microphone is a usb microphone(razer seiren mini)
and its not broken because i tried a different usb mic it still has it

the that i have tried:

  • going from usb 3 to usb 2(sometimes the sound changes)
  • disabling “allow exclusive control”
  • adjusting my gains
  • reinstalling drivers
  • setting the correct sample rate

my suspicion it might be usb interference but i dont know anymore been trying to troubeshoot for 4 months and getting reallllllyyy desperate also im on a pc not a laptop

Whine usually comes from the USB power (which is notoriously noisy) getting into the analog preamp in the mic (or into a USB powered audio interface).

A separately powered USB hub may help or a different computer may be better (or worse).

A different microphone may have better (or worse) filtering.
