According to the program listing in Control Panel, I have both Audacity 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 installed. Can I safely uninstall 2.1.0?
If they both run, I would leave 2.1.0 alone. 2.1.1 has a feature that it will not remember equalization curves from one instance to the next. This feature can flush a lot of work if you’re not careful.
I’m using 2.1.0 for day to day use until 2.1.2 comes out with the fixes.
If you need one of the advances available in 2.1.1, then use that one (one at a time). Both have greatly improved Noise Reduction, Compression and Limiter tools.

Yes, if Koz’s arguments against don’t matter to you. But the entry for 2.1.0 could be redundant if you already uninstalled it, in which case you can remove the entry from the list.
