Hi, sorry if this question is obvious. I’m a newb when it comes to recording things line in, so please have patience with me.
I’m using a PreSonus Firebox to record. I have a 1/4" to 1/4" cable. I just ordered a Micron. Could I simply just connect the headphone jack of the Micron into the Firebox and record that way?
The 1/4" Ring Tip Sleeve connections on the back of the Presonus should accept line-in with no trouble. From the way I read it, each 1/4" is one sound channel. That means out of two, you get one left and one right.
<<<Micron.>>>
Micron what? Micron makes everything from video monitors to lawnmowers.

Thanks for the answer. It’s a synth made by Alesis.
I also got an Alesis SR16 drum machine, so I’m hoping to record both the keyboard and drum machine line in to avoid having to record acoustic instruments in my untreated room as much.
