Can background music be stripped out from a taped interview?

I have an old cassette tape recording of an interview from an AM radio station spoiled by music from a foreign classical music station on a similar broadcast frequency. Can the interfering music be stripped out from an interview?

No. That’s one of the reliable ways to kill a show. See #4.

There are ways to rescue a show like that, but they’re not fun. Hollywood hires actors who sound like the performers in the original show. A production assistant writes down all the original words and the actors perform them fresh in the studio. Not all movie shoots work out well.

There may be an Artificial Intelligence way around this. We can wait for someone else to post about more advanced tools.
